Tacoma Art Museum’s upcoming exhibition Art AIDS America has been getting great notices starting with a number of articles in advance of its opening this past October 3. Wired Magazine called the exhibition a sobering look at how AIDS changed art in America. Huffington Post called says it is impressive and important. A&U, America’s AIDS magazine, published Taboo Art, Art AIDS America touches the art world’s third rail.

With the exhibition now open and people able to spend time taking in the powerful collection that took nearly 25 years to come together, more in-depth looks at the show are coming out.
