In over a decade of telling healthcare stories we rarely are able to share stories about mental wellbeing. These often difficult stories to share, they are so deeply personal, are important to talk about as most mental health issues go untreated until they become life-altering crisis.
For the 2015 Destination Swedish fundraising luncheon, we were honored to tell two stories of struggle and success. Our video supported a new program that Swedish is starting that puts a mental health care worker in each of its clinics. Doctors can now provide near immediate help to any of their patients, and in doing so save lives.
